  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 8 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine sugar, oleo, syrup and salt and bring to boil.

    Cook 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and add soda.

    Pour over popcorn.

    Mix well.

    Scatter on large shallow pans.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
