- 3 3/4 qt. (15 c.) popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Heat oven to 200°.

2Mix brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in saucepan.

3Cook and stir it over medium heat until it gets bubbles around the edge.

4Cook 5 minutes.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in the soda until foamy.

7Bake caramel corn 1 hour; stir every 15 minutes in two 13 x 9-inch pans.

8Store in tightly covered container or wrap in transparent wrap.
