Ingredients
- 8 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 2 sticks margarine, chunked
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Stir together the sugar, syrup, margarine and salt.

2Bring to a boil; turn heat down and simmer 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat and add butter flavoring and soda; mix well.

4It will look odd (that's okay), but stir thoroughly.

5Pour over popped corn in a large roasting pan.

6Roasted, unsalted almonds can be mixed in, if desired, at this point.

7Sit together well, then bake at 250° for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring well every 20 minutes.

8Serve warm or cool.

9Store well (if hidden) in lidded, plastic container.
