Oven Caramel Corn

  • 24 Cups- six quarts of popped corn
  • Nuts to taste
  • 2 cups of Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup light karo
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

    Preheat oven to 250. Boil sugar, butter, karo and salt for approx five minutes. Next add soda and vanilla. Stir well. Pour over popped corn and nuts. Mix. Put in a large roasting pan and bake in oven for one hour, stirring every fifteen minutes.
