- 6 eggs
- 2 c. half and half or milk
- 12 slices bread, crusts removed
- 1/2 lb. Old English cheese
- 1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Cube bread in a 2-quart greased 13 x 9-inch casserole.

2Melt cheese and butter and pour over bread.

3Beat eggs well with milk, salt and mustard and pour over bread.

4Mix lightly with fork.

5Let stand in fridge overnight.

6Take from refrigerator 2 hours before baking.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour.
