  • 1 deep 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 12 slices cooked bacon, drained and crumbled
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper

Directions

    Arrange layers of cheese and bacon in bottom of unbaked pie shell.

    Combine eggs with remaining ingredients; blend well.

    Pour over cheese and bacon.

    Bake at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes (or until knife inserted in center comes out clean).

    Let stand a few minutes before serving.
