Philly-Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 6 hoagie buns, split and toasted
  • 1 1/4 lb. thinly sliced roast beef
  • 12 slices cheese (Cheddar and/or Swiss)

Directions

    Saute onions in margarine until tender.

    Stack beef and onion on bottom half of each bun.

    Cut cheese slices in half and place 4 halves on top of each sandwich.

    Place under broiler until cheese is melted.

    Top each sandwich with remaining bun.

    Serve with chips and pickle strips.
