- 1 1/2 c. raw rice
- dash of pepper
- 3 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. sliced green onion
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In 2-quart ungreased casserole dish with a tight fitting lid, mix rice, salt and pepper.

3Dot with butter.

4Pour boiling water over rice.

5Stir to melt butter. Bake, covered, 45 minutes (do not lift lid).

6Add green onions. Mix lightly.

7To serve, fluff up rice lightly with fork.

8Serves 6.
