- 2 lb. cut up beef (stew meat)
- 6 carrots, cut into chunks
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. tomato juice
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 4 to 6 potatoes, cut into chunks
- 2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Place meat and vegetables in a roaster. Sprinkle with salt, sugar, pepper and tapioca.

2Pour tomato juice over.

3Cover and bake in a preheated 300° oven for 4 hours. Stir occasionally.
