  • 2 lb. lean stew meat, fat trimmed
  • 4 stalks celery, cut up
  • 5 carrots, cut up
  • 5 potatoes (skins on optional)
  • 3 onions, cut up
  • 16 oz. can tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Minute tapioca

Directions

    Cut vegetables into suitable pieces.

    Mix all ingredients in Dutch oven that has been soaked in water.

    Cover tightly and bake 4 hours at 300° in preheated oven.
