- 6 to 8 stalks celery, cut in 3-inch chunks
- 6 or more onions
- 1 can V-8 juice (1 pt., 8 fluid oz. can)
- 1 bay leaf
- seasonings to suit own taste
- 1 sweet green pepper
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. tapioca
Directions

1Put in well covered casserole in a 325° oven for 3 1/2 hours. If you wish, potatoes may be added the last hour or so.
