  • 1 lb. stew meat, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 3 or 4 medium onions
  • 1 c. celery, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
  • 6 carrots, chunked
  • potatoes (as you like)
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. tomato juice
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • garlic salt to taste
