Overnight Fruit Salad

- 1 c. seedless grapes, halved
- 1 c. cherries, pitted
- 6 marshmallows, cut in eighths
- 1/8 lb. cashew nuts, chopped
- 1 c. diced pineapple
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cream
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
Directions

1Combine fruits, marshmallows and nuts. Beat egg until light and foamy. Add sugar gradually.

2Blend in light cream and lemon juice.

3Place egg mixture in a saucepan and cook over low heat until the sauce is smooth and thickened, stirring constantly. Cool.

4Fold in whipped cream.

5Pour over combined fruit and mix lightly.

6Chill overnight in refrigerator.

7Makes about 6 servings.
