Ingredients

  • 1 head shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 c. frozen chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped celery
  • 1 pkg. frozen green peas (not cooked)
  • 2 sliced tomatoes
  • 5 sliced hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 pt. mayonnaise
  • 1 pkg. shredded Parmesan or mild Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Layer the first 4 ingredients in a bowl; do not stir. Refrigerate overnight.

    Before serving, top with the tomato, eggs and the mayonnaise, mixed with Parmesan or mild Cheddar cheese (spread over top).

    When serving, reach spoon to bottom of bowl to get all layers.

    Serves 8 to 10.
