Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Shred cabbage and place in bowl.

2Shred onion and pepper and place on top of cabbage.

3Sprinkle sugar over the top; do not stir.

4Bring to boil the oil, vinegar, celery seed, mustard and salt.

5Pour over cabbage mixture while hot.

6Cover and refrigerate without stirring for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

7Will keep crisp for a week if refrigerated.
