Oyster Casserole

  • 1 can oysters
  • 1/4 lb. crackers
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. processed (Velveeta type) cheese, more or less to taste
  • milk
  • broccoli, chopped (fresh or frozen) (optional)

Directions

    Drain oysters, reserving liquid.

    Crumble crackers.

    Mix oyster liquid with about equal amounts of milk and the mushroom soup and heat on slow burner.

    Add drained oysters to the crackers, cubed cheese, and chopped broccoli.

    Lightly stir in the liquid mixture.

    Turn into sprayed ovenproof dish and bake uncovered in 400° oven for about 30 minutes.
