Oyster Dressing

- 1 box saltines
- milk
- butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 10 oz. container of oysters
Directions

1Grease a 8 inch x 8 inch or 9 inch x 9 inch pan.

2Take one package of saltines and crush them into the bottom.

3Cut oysters into small pieces and put them every 1 - 2 inches apart.

4Cut small dabs of butter and put them every 1 - 2 inches apart opposite oysters.

5Shake on some salt and pepper.

6Pour on milk until this layer is saturated and mushy.

7Repeat layers until you run out of oysters.

8Pour oyster juice on top layer and really saturate the whole casserole with milk.

9Put in 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

10Pull it out when the top is brown and puffy.

11Serve immediately.
