  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped green onions (tops and bottoms)
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped garlic
  • 2/3 c. Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

    Saute first 5 ingredients until soft and clear.

    Blend in the rest of the ingredients.

    Place about 8 raw oysters (depending on size) in serving dish.

    Pour mixture over oysters and bake 15 minutes at 425°.
