- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 doz. oysters with liquid
- 1 qt. scalded milk
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of paprika
Directions

1Melt butter in a deep saucepan until sizzling.

2Add oysters and liquid.

3Reduce flame and cook slowly approximately 3 to 5 minutes or until edges of oysters curl slightly.

4Add remaining ingredients and heat quickly, but do not boil.

5Serve immediately. Top with paprika and lumps of butter.

6Makes 4 to 6 servings.
