  • 1 pt. shucked oysters with liquid
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • seafood seasoning (if desired)
  • 1 c. hot milk
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • dash of garlic powder

Directions

    Cook oysters in their liquid until edges curl, about 5 minutes.

    Add milk, margarine or butter, salt, garlic and pepper. Heat, but do not boil.

    Serve at once.
