  • 3 pt. oysters
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

    Wash oysters and remove any shell, drain.

    Make a paste of margarine and flour in skillet over medium heat.

    Add salt, pepper and milk, stirring constantly. Add oysters, Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt.

    Cook until oysters are plump and their edges curl.

    Do not boil.

    Serve hot with oyster crackers.
