- 2 pt. milk (low-fat if desired)
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- pepper
Directions

1Heat undrained oysters on medium in a 3 to 4-quart pot.

2Cook until oysters curl around the edges (moderately shrink).

3Pour in milk to make broth.

4Add 2 tablespoons butter (or margarine).

5Add pepper to taste.

6Let heat until butter is fully melted.

7Do not boil.

8Stew is ready to serve.
