  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 6 cups dry stuffing bread
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 pint raw oysters, drained and chopped
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/2-3/4 cup milk

Directions

    Cook bay leaf, celery and onion in butter until tender. Discard bay leaf. Add stuffing bread and parsley to butter mixture; mix thoroughly. Add eggs, oysters, poultry seasoning and salt & pepper. Add milk to moisten.
