- 6 oysters on the half shell
- 1/2 cup heavy sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
- Salt, black pepper
- 1 bag raw spinach
- 2 tablespoons Pernod or Kirschwasser
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Browned bread crumbs
Directions

1Remove oysters from shell and put in each shell 1 teaspoon of the sour cream which has been mixed with the garlic, salt and pepper.

2Put oyster on top and completely fill the shells with raw spinach which has been put through the meat chopper and mixed with the Pernod and cheese.

3Sprinkle the top with bread crumbs and a little more grated Parmesan cheese.

4Dot with butter, put oyster shells on a bed of rock salt in the broiling pan and brown the oysters under the broiler.

5Serve piping hot.
