- 3 lb. lean beef, cut into 3-inch cubes
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 c. catsup
- 2 c. beef bouillon
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Directions

1In iron Dutch oven, brown beef and onion over high heat in the bacon drippings.

2Combine the remaining ingredients except bouillon.

3Pour over the meat; add bouillon and blend.

4Cover tightly; place in oven at 250° and cook 3 hours.

5Serve as is with rice and/or beans.
