- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. onion salt
- 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- 1/2 c. corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Mix milk, oil, vinegar and salt.

2In a separate bowl, mix biscuit mix and cornmeal.

3Add milk mixture and blend with a fork. Form into a ball and knead 10 times.

4Shape into balls and flatten with your hand.

5Cook in shortening in skillet over medium-low heat until browned on both sides and cooked through.
