Ingredients
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water (110~ to 115~)
- 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/3 c. shortening, melted
- 5 1/2 to 6 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast over warm water in large bowl.

2Add dry milk, sugar, salt, melted shortening and 3 cups flour.

3Blend at low speed until moistened, then beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. Using a spoon, stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn dough on lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic.

4Divide dough into 24 pieces; shape into balls.

5Place in 2 greased 8-inch round cake pans.

6Cover; let rise until doubled (about 30 minutes).

7Preheat oven to 400°.

8Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
