Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter (or Oil)
  • 1 whole Large Egg
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 cups Berries (optional)
  • Cinnamon Sugar (optional)

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish.

    In a large mixing bowl, beat together milk, butter and egg. In separate bowl mix dry ingredients and add to wet, stirring just to moisten.

    Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

    If using berries, clean and place in bottom of baking dish. Pour batter over top. May need to increase baking time by 5 minutes.

    Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
