  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • additional melted butter, for brushing

Directions

    1. Sift flour,baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl.

    2. Mix in egg, melted butter, vanilla. Then add milk until right consistency.

    3. Heat lightly oiled griddle over medium high heat.

    4. Pour about 1/4 cup for each pancake.

    5. Brown on both sides.
