  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 t. sugar
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1/4 t. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg, separated
  • 2 T. melted butter

Directions

    Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well.

    Combine the buttermilk and milk together in a measuring cup. Add the egg white to the milks and mix well.

    Combing the melted butter and egg yolk. Add butter mixture to milk mixture and stir.

    Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

    Cook pancakes as usual.
