Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon liquid margarine

Directions

    Grease a non-stick frying pan with a drizzle of liquid margarine.

    In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.

    Mix the egg with the milk, and add to the dry ingredients.

    Stir until mixture is creamy and lump-free. Only then, add liquid margarine.

    Heat the greased pan, and pour, right in the center, the amount of batter needed for the desired size of pancakes.

    When the batter starts to create bubbles and rise, turn over with a spatula.

    Let rise, and brown. Remove from pan.

    Repeat until all the batter has been used.

    Garnish to taste, and serve.
