  • 3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nut meats

Directions

    Put sugar and milk in heavy pan. Cook to soft ball stage, 238°.

    Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Cool, without stirring, until lukewarm.

    Beat until creamy. Stir in broken nuts and pour into buttered dish.

    Pour before it turns white.
