  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 rice bananas
  • 1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
  • 1/2 c. frozen coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Directions

    Bake cake as directed in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cook pineapple and sugar until thick.

    Spread on hot cake.

    Cool completely. Slice bananas and spread over pineapple.

    Mix pudding as directed on package.

    Spread over pineapple.

    Spread on Cool Whip and sprinkle coconut and pecans on top of cake.

    Cool before serving. Keep refrigerated.
