  • 3 to 4 lb. prime rib
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. meat tenderizer
  • 2 Tbsp. crushed pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 Tbsp. rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic flakes
  • 2 crushed bay leaves

Directions

    Combine tenderizer and olive oil.

    With meat in a large bowl, rub this all over and into meat.

    Mix all the herbs and spices together and place on a wax paper.

    Roll meat in this mixture, patting to help it stick to meat.

    Bake 1 3/4 hours until meat thermometer reaches 160° for medium.

    Serve with baked potatoes.
