- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Preheat oven to hot, 450°.

2Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in bowl.

3Stir in cheese.

4Add butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.

5Stir in enough buttermilk just until dough holds together.

6Knead dough slightly on a lightly floured surface.

7Pat or roll out 1/2-inch thick.

8Cut out biscuits with 2-inch cutter.

9Place on ungreased baking sheet.

10Bake in preheated hot oven, 450° for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

11Makes 10 biscuits.
