  • 1 loaf (1 lb.) French bread
  • 3/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
  • 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Cut 1 loaf French bread into 5 pieces, each about 4-inches long; cut each piece lengthwise into 6 sticks. Brush outsides with margarine or butter, melted.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

    Place sticks in ungreased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch.

    Bake until golden, about 8 minutes.

    Makes 30 bread sticks.
