- 1 c. extra long grain rice
- 1 can chicken or beef broth
- 1/4 c. butter
- salt to taste
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
Directions

1Pour rice into glass 1 1/2-quart baking dish.

2Add water to chicken broth to make 2 cups.

3Pour into saucepan and bring to a boil.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in butter until melted.

6Pour over rice.

7Cover tightly.

8Bake in a 375° oven until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes.

9Stir in salt and parsley.

10Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes longer.

11Serve at once.
