Ingredients: 4 c. mashed potatoes; 8 oz. sour cream; 8 oz. cream cheese; 1 tsp. dried chives; 1/4 tsp. garlic powder; 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs; 1 tsp. margarine; 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

4 c. mashed potatoes
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. dried chives
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. margarine
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese

Directions

Combine potatoes, sour cream, cream cheese, chives and garlic powder (can use instant mashed potatoes).

Put this mixture in a casserole dish and top with bread crumbs mixed with melted margarine.

Spread grated Cheddar cheese on top of bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes if potatoes are hot.

For cold potatoes, bake at 350° for 35 minutes, adding Cheddar cheese 10 minutes before removing from oven.
