- 3 pounds pot cheese
- 1 cup sweet butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 pint heavy cream, whipped
- Glaceed cherries for garnish
Directions

1Press cheese through a fine sieve.

2In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat butter with sugar until fluffy.

3Then beat in egg yolks, cheese, sour cream, raisins and vanilla.

4Now carefully blend in 1/2-cup heavy cream, whipped.

5Line a sieve or colander with cheesecloth.

6Spoon in cheese mixture, then fold ends of cheesecloth over top.

7Set in a large bowl to catch any drippings.

8Refrigerate over night.

9Just before serving, unfold ends of cheesecloth, invert cheese mixture on serving dish, and remove the cheesecloth.

10Decorate with a little whipped cream, then some glaced cherries.
