- 3 eggs, beaten well
- 34 cup sugar
- 13 cup oil
- 34 cup matzo cake meal
- 5 apples, peeled and sliced
- 12 cup chopped walnuts or 12 cup chopped pecans
- 34 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions

1Beat eggs, sugar and oil until mixture is light colored.

2Add cake meal and mix well.

3Pour half of batter into a lightly greased 8 or 9 inch glass baking pan.

4Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle about half the topping mixture evenly over the batter.

5Pour half of the apples over the batter.

6Pour the rest of the batter over the apples and cover with the remaining apples.

7Sprinkle evenly the rest of topping over the apples.

8Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours or until the sides of the cake pull away very slightly from baking pan.

9Cool completely and store wrapped in Saran Wrap.
