- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 or 4 slices bacon
- 2 cans Hunt's tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp. basil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (juice also) white beans (cannellini)
- 1 lb. elbow or broken spaghetti
Directions

1Place in a frying pan and brown garlic in oil and cook bacon, then add tomato sauce and 1 can of water.

2To this, add basil and salt and pepper to taste.

3Cook this sauce down for 30 to 45 minutes on a medium low heat, then add white beans (cannellini). Cook elbow or broken spaghetti (al dente).

4Then drain and add to tomato and bean sauce.

5Serve immediately!
