Pasta Con Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1 large can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 pt. heavy whipping cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small bag frozen broccoli (pieces)
  • 1 box shell noodles, cooked (use only 1/2 to 3/4 noodles)

Directions

    Melt butter in pan.

    Stir in garlic and mushrooms.

    Saute a few minutes.

    Turn heat down to low; stir in whipping cream, Parmesan cheese and 1/2 of tomato sauce.

    Simmer a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Stir in broccoli.

    Pour over half of noodles, then add rest of noodles while stirring.

    (Do not soak up all of juice with noodles; it will get dry later.)
