  • 1/2 lb. pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 c. fresh basil leaves
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1/4 c. pine nuts
  • 1/3 c. olive oil
  • 3/8 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Blend basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts, and olive oil in blender to make a paste.

    Cook pasta to taste, al dente is recommended.

    Toss drained pasta with paste while still hot.

    Add Parmesan cheese and toss again.

    Serves 4 as a main dish or 6 as a side dish.

    Refrigerate leftovers immediately.
