- 1/2 lb. pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
- 1 c. fresh basil leaves
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/4 c. pine nuts
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 3/8 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Blend basil leaves, garlic, pine nuts, and olive oil in blender to make a paste.

2Cook pasta to taste, al dente is recommended.

3Toss drained pasta with paste while still hot.

4Add Parmesan cheese and toss again.

5Serves 4 as a main dish or 6 as a side dish.

6Refrigerate leftovers immediately.
