  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (any flavor)
  • 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. confectioners sugar

Directions

    Prepare cake mix and add 1/2 package of Jell-O before beating. Bake in cupcake pans according to directions on cake mix package. Cool 10 minutes in pans.

    Remove from pans; cool on racks. Dissolve remaining Jell-O in boiling water.

    Cream butter; add part of the sugar gradually, blending after each addition.

    Add remaining sugar alternately with Jell-O mixture, beating until smooth.

    Spread on cupcakes.
