  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 6 1/2 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (or fresh)

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Drain and rinse under cold water,drain again and add 1/3 parmesan cheese and set aside.in skillet melt 1-1/2 tsp of the butter over med. heat,cook onion and garlic,stirring for 3 minutes.", "Stir in beef,oregano,cinnamon,salt and pepper;cook stirring for 7-10 minutes or until no longer pink.Drain off fat.", "Stir in tomatoes,tomatoe paste and vinigar.Cook stirring for 3 minutes.Remove from heat,stir in parsley.
