- 1 c. shortening
- 7 to 8 Tbsp. cold water
Directions

1Measure flour and salt in bowl; cut in shortening.

2Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until flour is moistened and dough is clean from sides of bowl.

3Roll into ball and flatten round with rolling pin on lightly floured surface.

4Makes 2 (8 or 9-inch) pie shells.
