  • 3 lb. ground chuck or ground round
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 5 lb. potatoes, cubed
  • 3 lb. onions, chopped
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

    Make pie crust following a 3 crust recipe.

    Roll out and line both dishes; fill.

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Makes 1 (11 x 15-inch) Pyrex dish and one large pie plate.

    Line bottom of both and fill with mixture; top with crust, sealing edges well.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour for pie plate and 1 hour and 15 minutes for large Pyrex dish.
