- 5 c. brown flour
- 1 c. shortening, melted and cooled
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. salt
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 6 c. warm water
Directions

3In a large bowl, combine 4 cups flour mixture,

8Add 2 more cups flour. Mix thoroughly.

16Punch down but don't work out yet.

26Heat oven to 350°.

28Bread will be crusty and firm and sound hollow when tapped.
