Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork hot sausage, fried and drained
  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. self-rising corn meal
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. whole milk
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg. pepperoni, cut up
  • 4 or more tiny hot peppers, chopped
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 onion, chopped

Directions

    Mix batter thoroughly and add sausage, cheese, pepperoni, onion and hot peppers.

    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 1 hour at 350°.

    When cooled, cut into desired sized pieces.

    Can be wrapped in Saran Wrap or plastic wrap and then in aluminum foil for freezing.

    Great later when warmed in microwave oven.
