  • 1 lb. peas
  • 4 chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 ham bone

    Soak whole peas overnight; drain in morning.

    Simmer all ingredients together for 2 to 3 hours in a covered pan.
